What is it?
Poddlers is a preschool provision run by a qualified teacher with an emphasis on learning, exploration and curiosity. Sessions are limited to 6 children and we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with families and giving all children the very best start in life. During the sessions, we will immerse the children in stories, rhymes and language; explore numbers and what they mean and provide fuel for young curious minds! Science experiments, tinkering, messy play, nature exploration and more!

We encourage our children and families to get involved with planning our curriculum and build on their passions.

To support our learning further we will go out and about the local area visiting parks, woodlands, beaches and anywhere else that we are curious about. 

Who is it for?
It is for children aged 3 to 5 years old, who have curious minds and a desire to explore.  It is perfect for children who are home educated, who have outgrown their current setting or who find a larger preschool daunting. Please note spaces for each session are limited to 6 children.

 

Where is it?

Each session will run from our unique learning pod based in Congresbury.

 

What will my child need?

• Lunch - We may offer lunches soon

• Water

• Suitable clothing for the weather and activity - this will be communicated before

• Nappies and wipes (if required)

• Any medication (if required)

• A backpack to carry it all in

How much is it?
 

£45 per child per session. This includes all visits, transport and experiences.

Funded Places

Children aged 3 and 4 are able to use their 15 hours of funded childcare with us. We ask that children use their full 15 hours with us across the week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). 15 hours is equivalent to 3 x 5hour sessions.

As we offer a unique provision with daily visits and experiences within the community we ask for a voluntary contribution of £15 per session. This is to cover our travel, parking and entrance fees, as well as increased costs for insurance. Without this contribution we would nor be able to operate our unique provision.

To claim your funded hours, please complete this form and bring it on your first visit to use along with a copy of your child's birth certificate or passport. Funding start points are:

Autumn - 1st September

Spring - 1st January

Summer - 1st April

There is an admin fee of £20 to secure your child's place.

​

Sessions are payable in termly blocks via BACS in arrears.

Please note we are term time only and there is no cost over school holiday times.
